Features: Luo Yang on Painting primarily discusses Chinese painting. Time flies, and a decade has passed. Over these ten years, I have written numerous articles one after another. Now, I have compiled them into another collection. A friend suggested that it could be titled Luo Yang's Talks on Painting. One can't help but be "proud of one's own worn-out broom"! As the saying goes, "In this world, people value the late years." I am eighty-eight in ( refers to the East Asian age reckoning system), and I remain optimistic about life. The Tang poet Liu Yuxi said, "The evening scene at the western horizon cannot last forever." Indeed! If heaven has feelings, it too must grow old; how much more so for humans? A hundred years of life, how many days have passed? Even an old horse galloping can still run.
