Features: The National English Proficiency Test (Public English Test System) is a national English proficiency examination system designed and administered by the National Education Examination Administration Center. It is a nationally authoritative examination system with international standards. By assessing candidates' proficiency, it issues nationally recognized English proficiency certificates, which serve as the basis for personnel assessment and recruitment by human resources departments, meeting the needs of English ability evaluation and talent employment in society. The National English Proficiency Test is set up with five levels and an additional level, which will gradually replace existing English examinations such as the junior high school entrance examination, vocational secondary school and higher vocational foreign language supplementary tests, senior high school comprehensive assessment, self-study examination, adult college entrance examination, and foreign language proficiency tests for government-funded overseas study. At the same time, it guides the direction of English examination questions for the college entrance examination and postgraduate entrance examination.
