Author Bio: Uma Sekaran is Professor Emerita of Management at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, Illinois. Sekaran obtained her MBA degree from the University of Connecticut at Storrs and her Ph.D. from UCLA. She was the Chair of the Department of Management and also the Director of University Women's Professional Advancement at SIUC during her tenure at the university. Dr. Sekaran has authored or co-authored 8 books, 12 book chapters, and more than 55 refereed journal articles, as well as more than 70 papers at national, international, and regional management conferences. Professor Sekaran has been recognized for significant research contributions to cross-cultural research by U.S. and international professional organizations. She is the recipient of Meritorious Research Awards from both the Academy of Management and SIUC. She has also been conferred the Best Teacher Award by the University.
Zhuo Song Zhu, Ph.D. in Management from Sun Yat-sen University, is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Business Administration at Donghua University in Taiwan. His main research areas are management decision accounting and marketing management.
Jia Wu Lin, Ph.D. in Business from National Taiwan University, is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Administration at Donghua University in Taiwan. His main research areas are leadership and decision-making behavior and consumer behavior.
