Features: The content of this book is mainly divided into three parts. The first part is the C++ language basics, which primarily covers the use of common menu items in the Visual C++ 6.0 integrated development environment, the methods and steps for creating basic applications, data types, operators, expressions, three basic program structures, arrays, functions and overloading, references, pointers, structures, unions, and compilation preprocessing. The second part is object-oriented programming, which provides a detailed introduction to the basic concepts of object-oriented programming, the definition and use of classes and objects, constructors and destructors, inheritance and derivation, virtual functions and polymorphism, friend functions and friend classes, static members, templates, and file operations. The third part is the application of object-oriented programming, which primarily uses Visual C++ 6.0 as the development environment, leveraging the MFC class library, C++ language, and object-oriented programming methods to introduce the methods and concepts for designing applications that run in the Windows environment. It also provides an in-depth analysis of the framework structure of programs, focusing on the creation methods for dialog boxes, menus, toolbars, status bars, documents and views, as well as graphics/image processing. Additionally, it includes the use of relevant MFC classes and common member functions. These three parts are interconnected, mutually reinforcing, and progress step by step. Numerous examples are provided to explain and illustrate each part of the content. Moreover, in addition to Chapter 1, each chapter includes corresponding exercises for readers to practice. This book can serve as a textbook for undergraduate and graduate courses on programming languages in computer science and related fields at universities and colleges, and it is also suitable for computer enthusiasts to self-study and reference.
