Features: The pocket edition of "The Logic of Honor" was published a few days ago, four years after the release of the deluxe edition. The publication of the pocket edition provides an opportunity to further explore and clarify the views of this work. The book has a rigorous structure, and its content does not require modification. However, the reactions from the outside world and the data provided by later research have still opened up new perspectives for us. Through a comparative analysis of production institutions in many countries, the book focuses on introducing the operational and management models of enterprises in different nations. As a work in the social sciences, it has attracted the attention of researchers and university students. Additionally, because it covers numerous practical issues, it has piqued the interest of those who hope to find direction for their management practices or strategies to improve the relationship between leaders and subordinates. However, even if researchers and practitioners share the same views on the issues they wish to delve into, the knowledge they seek is not entirely the same. The purpose of this book is to highlight the issues of interest to both groups while setting aside those that are relevant only to researchers or practitioners. It neither delves deeply into theoretical questions nor involves specific management methods. Of course, the various constraints on the content are merely a temporary measure, but they have still raised questions from readers and critics alike. After the book's publication, many academic journals published theoretical articles. At the request of some companies, practical issues were also discussed, and specific timeframes for management were determined. All of this is not intended to be elaborated upon here; instead, we will focus on elaborating on a few key issues.
