Who is my Polydorus?

Features: The female-themed book Who Am I's Polydactyl Cat is the latest work by columnist Qi A, following Single Room, Double Bed and Lonesome Peach Blossoms. With her sensitive, penetrating words that are witty and lively, she vividly portrays the life scenes and spiritual space of an intellectual woman living independently in the city. She is both an idealist and a pragmatic realist. She has observed love and friendship almost comprehensively, understanding the essence of relationships. She pursues the purest truth of life, the truth of the reality she lives in, and the truth she commits to this world. When writing, she is often in a daze. When I write my own stories, I feel as if I am writing the joys and sorrows of all the women I know and don't know. And when I write about the stories of women around me, I also empathize deeply, as if I am expressing the worries and delights in my heart. More often than not, I can't tell if it's you, me, or her. I only know that I want to tell an interesting story, one that also reveals a bit of real human nature. I think writing is for me an outlet for a life without an end; a continuation of emotions that cannot be sustained; and another possibility of life that seems impossible. As a female-themed book, it inevitably faces the awkwardness of being misinterpreted at times. Those who love me can read my kindness and gentleness between the lines; and those who are critical of me can find reasons to criticize me in the book. Haha. Fortunately, since the publication of one of my survival notes, Note Two, readers have occasionally shared their wonderful feelings with me. The feeling of being liked is truly wonderful.
