Author: Liu Bingwen
Publisher:
Publication Date: 1988-10-01
Features: The current edition of this book can no longer meet the needs of the development of biochemistry and biochemistry teaching. Therefore, major revisions have been made to the current edition. The content related to rapidly developing, frequently updated, and nucleic acid-related topics has been expanded into five chapters: replication, transcription, translation, gene expression regulation, and genetic recombination and genetic engineering. The original chapters on biooxidation and metabolic regulation have been revised into two chapters: the tricarboxylic acid cycle and oxidative phosphorylation, and intercellular information transmission. Chapters on the nervous system, muscle, connective tissue, vitamins, and calcium-phosphorus metabolism have been removed. The content related to vitamins, calcium-phosphorus regulation, bile acid metabolism, and bilirubin metabolism has been included in chapters on enzymes, hormones, and hepatobiliary biochemistry, respectively. Considering the chapters on hormones, water and electrolyte balance, acid-base balance, and hepatobiliary biochemistry. In terms of question types, in addition to multiple-choice questions (a, k, b, c types), new X-type questions have been added. After the revisions, the book now consists of 18 chapters and 1609 questions. We hope that the second edition of this book can reflect the recent advancements in biochemistry and maintain a certain depth and breadth, while also meeting the needs of self-study, review, examination, and reference for students of various disciplines, levels, and institutions of medical education.
