Features: The 7th National Academic Conference on Leadership Science was held in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, in mid-August 1997. The conference received more than 400 papers submitted from all over the country. Before the conference, the paper selection committee, chaired by Na Renaoqier, included members such as Meng Jiqun, He Xiaoying, and Li Honglin, who selected 170+ papers for inclusion. The authors of the selected papers were invited to attend the academic conference. Based on the exchanges at this conference, President Liu Haifan instructed that the most important papers submitted to the conference be compiled and published. In accordance with this requirement, He Xiaoying designed the framework outline and, together with Liu Bingxiang and Zhao Xinyu, conducted classification, revision, and organization of the papers. Na Renaoqier and Meng Jiqun provided suggestions for revising and adjusting the outline. Finally, He Xiaoying finalized the manuscript.
