Features: This book is divided into two parts. The first part analyzes the causes of globalization from aspects such as society, politics, and the economy. The second part comprehensively explores the impacts of globalization from perspectives of political economy, sociology, and communication studies. In other words, this book will focus on explaining the origins, mechanisms, and development direction of globalization. In the first chapter, it organizes Marx's relevant discussions. On this basis, it further discusses the theoretical issues involved in globalization. The second chapter discusses the evolution of Western companies. The "personalized" secondary nature of capital is manifested through the form of companies. If the "personalized" nature and vitality of capital determine the direction of company development, then the scale of companies and the scope of the market are the foundation of social change. The fourth chapter discusses the evolution of consumer culture in capitalist society, the role of media, and globalization. The fifth chapter points out that in the era of economic globalization, if we cannot quickly make the majority of the population prosperous, if we do not focus on "China Creates" but remain at the level of "Made in China," it will mean the end of our nation, or the end of our national culture. The sixth chapter discusses that before companies formed global alliances, they had already united within their home countries and were politically well-prepared. The seventh chapter of this book discusses the repositioning of social relationships in the era of globalization. This repositioning is centered around multinational companies. The eighth chapter discusses the relationship between different media and the capitalist economy. The author emphasizes that when a new communication technology system emerges, not all the interests and characteristics of various forces, strata, groups, or organizations within the existing social, economic, political, and cultural structures are compatible with the inherent or demonstrated features or characteristics of this new communication technology. The content of this book is comprehensive, the structure is reasonable, the organization is clear, the materials are detailed, the writing is vivid, and it integrates scientificity, theoretical depth, knowledge, and guidance, making it highly worth reading.
