Features: This is a comparative literary studies thematic anthology edited by Professor Rao Pengzi, a doctoral supervisor in the Department of Literature at Jinan University. It selects representative papers from the university's doctoral program in literature over the recent years (1995-2001) in this field of study. The editors believe that the publication of this anthology will have a positive impact on promoting the in-depth development of comparative literary studies.
