Following the order of the legal articles, each of the nearly 50 commonly used laws in China is explained in three main parts: keyword definitions, understanding and application, and cases and analysis. This series provides a comprehensive description of the legislative intent and specific application of each article to prevent disagreements in application. In the "Understanding and Application" section, the content and application of the article are elaborated on specifically. In the "Cases and Analysis" section, selected cases related to the article are reviewed and analyzed to deepen understanding. This series focuses on reflecting China's recent mature theories and judicial practices. All content is aligned with the latest laws, regulations, rules, and judicial interpretations, and modifications to relevant laws are clearly stated in the corresponding sections. Moreover, we will update the series promptly based on newly promulgated laws and regulations to provide readers with the most up-to-date information. When this series was published, we had just entered the 21st century. We dedicate this book to our great motherland, to our great era, and to those who have contributed to the development of China's legal system.
