Features: The electric bass is a newly developed instrument that flourished in the 20th century. It is a low-tone guitar produced through electrical means based on the traditional guitar. This book is written for participants in the electric bass professional level certification examination and is divided into two volumes. The first volume contains scores for levels 1 to 4, while the second volume contains scores for levels 5 to 8. To improve the performance level of guitar professional players and enthusiasts in China, standardize the guitar professional level certification, the Culture Ministry's Cultural and Artistic Talent Center has decided to carry out professional level certification for guitar performance and has commissioned the Guitar Society of the Chinese Musicians' Association to organize experts to write the "China Classical Guitar Professional Level Certification Standards," "China Electric Guitar Professional Level Certification Standards," and "China Electric Bass Professional Level Certification Standards." The guitar belongs to the plucked string instruments. According to records, the guitar was introduced to Spain from Western Asia by the Arabs, forming a unique performance system and becoming one of the most representative instruments in Spanish art. On the statues of the "Hall of Honor" in the Santiago de Compostela Cathedral and the small statue of Saint Mary of Alfonso, the instrument of the guitar can still be seen today, which historians call the "Latin guitar." During the Renaissance, the guitar became popular throughout Europe, with its appearance and performance repertoire relatively stabilized. In the following centuries, the guitar's status on the stage fluctuated, but its influence in the folk sector grew day by day, becoming one of the most beloved instruments of people from different eras, countries, and races.
