Features: Shen Zuofen's Appreciation of Song Ci was published in 1980, and I bought it for 0.64 yuan at the time. The section Brief Explanations of Selected Works by Northern Song Poets was my favorite part. According to the "Postscript" written by Mr. Cheng Qianfan, it was "a set of unfinished lecture notes." At that time, young teachers and graduate students raised the issue: "Song Ci can be quite difficult to understand, especially regarding the artistic techniques of the lyrical school. Similarly, the critiques of these works by ancient critics of Ci are also hard to grasp." Therefore, Shen Xingsheng tailored the course to their needs, focusing on explaining the artistic techniques of lyrical poets' works and some theories of Ci.
