Features: This book is a summary and reflection of the author's long-term teaching experience in computational fluid dynamics and research practice in the calculation of incompressible viscous flow fields. The book is divided into 9 chapters. Chapters 1 and 2 briefly review the development process of incompressible viscous flow problems, boundary value problems, computational problems, and main algorithms. Chapter 3 introduces some network generation methods in flow field calculations, mainly algebraic network generation and elliptic numerical grid generation. Chapters 4 to 8 are the main content of the book: Chapter 4 proposes an incompressible viscous flow field calculation method on semi- staggered grids suitable for planar and axisymmetric problems. Chapter 5 introduces the velocity-pressure Poisson equation method proposed by Abdallah et al. and the finite difference method on non-staggered grids, and extends this algorithm to the calculation of three-dimensional flow fields. Chapter 6 introduces the principle of block-coupled solution. Chapter 7 introduces the regionally block-coupled solution method and program software developed independently by us, and calculates the flow field around a torpedo. Chapter 8 introduces spatial and temporal high-precision formats and proposes block-coupled solution methods and case studies under high-precision solutions. Chapter 9 briefly introduces the finite difference calculation method for unstructured grids, which can help understand the application principles of various engineering software. This book is available for teachers, students, and researchers in the field of fluid mechanics, as well as for a wide range of teachers and students in related disciplines to study and reference.
