Features: In the primitive era of human ignorance, due to the inability to understand and cope with certain natural phenomena, people sought protection from supernatural powers in fear, giving rise to the earliest beliefs and worship of gods. In class-based societies, the fate of the majority was held by a small number of rulers, leading people to view those who controlled their destiny as "gods." A revolutionary leader once said, "The concept of god is forever the idea of the slave condition (the bad, hopeless slave condition)." Historically, there have been two types of leaders: one who emphasizes personal power and authority, known as an "iron-fisted figure," and another who is more skilled in using personal charm and promoting democratic spirit, known as a "commoner-style" leader. As the global democratic trend expands and deepens, "iron-fisted" leaders are gradually becoming part of history, while "commoner-style" leaders will be more needed by the times and welcomed by the masses. As early as the Renaissance, the famous Italian thinker Dante, with poetic passion, proposed: "Although, in terms of governance, representatives of the citizens and kings are the rulers of the people, in the ultimate sense, they are the servants of the people." Although this refers to "citizens" and "the people," primarily meaning property owners and not including all members of society, this idea of "public servants" has had a profound impact on historical development. This book is the second volume in the series study "From Chen Duxiu to Mao Zedong—A New Perspective on the Six Leaders of the CCP," and it aims to explore the aforementioned issues from a life perspective, conducting new examinations and reflections on the former leaders of the political arena.
