With the development of medical science and technology, new technologies, methods, and theories continue to be popularized, leading to the continuous advancement of related disciplines. The fifth edition of the National College Textbook Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery, edited by Professor Tian Yong, adds "three new" elements—new theories, new methods, and new technologies—based on the previous edition. The textbook has been renamed Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery to include content on head and neck surgery.
To help students better study and review, more comprehensively master the textbook's content, and especially to enable students preparing for the national postgraduate entrance examination to quickly integrate the material and improve their exam performance, we have organized some professors from the Medical School of Shandong University to write corresponding exercises for each chapter of the textbook, arranged in the same order as the textbook, and compiled them into A Guide to the New Edition of Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery for Examinations. The content includes key points, highlights, test questions, and reference answers. The test questions are divided into definitions of terms, fill-in-the-blank questions, multiple-choice questions, and short-answer questions, covering most of the textbook's content, with a more detailed explanation of the key points that students are required to master.
This book is not only suitable for undergraduate students of medical schools and those preparing for postgraduate entrance examinations but can also serve as a reference for trainees and practicing physicians taking exams.
