Can prostatic cysts be completely improved?

Patient's question:

I used to have prostatitis, which has been cured. My recent prostate fluid tests were all normal. Lately, I've been feeling a bloated sensation in my rectum. The ultrasound showed that the size of my prostate was 40 and the echo was uneven. The doctor said there was a problem and prescribed medication for me. After taking it for a week, there was no improvement at all.

Doctor's answer:

Prostatic cysts are cystic changes that occur again due to congenital or acquired reasons in the prostate gland. Congenital cysts result from incomplete atrophy of the (Wolffian ducts), which fuse at the midline and form a deep diverticulum or cyst at the bladder base, opening posteriorly into the prostatic urethra. Acquired cysts are caused by fibrous prostatic stroma leading to incomplete or intermittent obstruction of the acini, gradually thickening the acinar epithelium and ultimately resulting in retention cysts. Prostatic cysts can be secondarily infected or develop stones. Larger cysts may compress the urethra, causing urinary difficulties. Common symptoms include urinary urgency, frequency, difficulty urinating, thin urine stream, and urinary retention. It is recommended that you visit the prostatic screening center at the hospital for follow-up to avoid delaying the condition.
