Is this image normal for prostatitis?

Patient's question:

Over the past few days, I've been experiencing some inflammation in my prostate. Today, I had a color Doppler ultrasound of the prostate done. Could you please help me take a look at the images and see if they are normal?

Doctor's answer:

Your prostate is not enlarged or fibrotic. As for whether it has inflammation, MRI cannot detect it, and a prostate fluid test is needed. The color Doppler ultrasound results show that you have kidney stones. Kidney stones require immediate treatment. You can increase the likelihood of stone passage by drinking more water and jumping on stairs, or you can undergo ultrasound lithotripsy. For prostate patients, timely treatment can reduce the incidence of the disease. If left untreated, it can affect your overall health. Therefore, patients should seek timely and symptomatic treatment, and maintain a regular lifestyle in daily life to avoid prolonged sitting.
