Features: After China's entry into the World Trade Organization (WTO), with the reduction of textile and apparel quotas and tariff barriers, developed countries have established increasingly stringent technical standards to restrict China's textile and apparel trade. Chapter 4 reviews and analyzes the impact of the Multi-Fiber Arrangement (MFA) and the Agreement on Textiles and Clothing on China's textile and apparel trade.
Chapter 5 analyzes the impact of technical trade barriers on China's textile and apparel trade with major developed countries.
Chapter 6 elaborates on how to regulate and improve China's technical trade barrier protection measures.
Chapter 7 proposes specific countermeasures for China's textile and apparel industry to address technical trade barriers.
About the Author: Wang Zhonghui, born in 1962 in Xinchang, Zhejiang. In 1994, he obtained a Ph.D. from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne (United Kingdom). He is currently a professor at the School of Finance and Economics at Hangzhou Dianzi University. His main academic achievements include the monograph A Study of Public Policy Influences on the Development of China's Rural Enterprises (1978-1992), as well as numerous academic papers published in the UK.
