Publishing Date: 2003-06-01
Features: Except for a few chapters and several poems which are early works, all the pieces collected in "Two Piles" were written after Wang Shixiang selected and compiled "The Dust of Jade" in 1996. At that time, his left eye was already blind, and his right eye's cataract was worsening, making writing extremely difficult. As a result, there are very few manuscripts, most of which are short essays. He considered "The Dust of Jade" even more trivial and, feeling deeply ashamed, ashamed. Now, at the age of eighty-nine, his energy is declining, and he knows he can no longer compile "Three Piles." Wang Shixiang selected "The Dust of Two Piles" as a continuation of "The Dust of Jade." Except for a few chapters and poems which are early works, the rest were written after the publication of "The Dust of Jade." Volume One includes seven categories: reminiscences, calligraphy and painting, furniture, lacquerware, crafts, leisure activities, and miscellaneous writings, totaling over sixty essays. Volume Two includes twenty-six poems, as well as three rare and valuable ancient texts: "Painting Explanations," "New Methods for Training Eagles and Hawks," and "New Words on the Incense Burner."
