Features: The seventh congress of the Chinese history academia was held from April 14 to 17, 2004, at Shaanxi Normal University. Following the tradition of the Chinese history academia congresses, academic seminars were conducted with the theme "Current Status and Development Trends of Chinese Historical Studies." This collection includes 19 articles submitted by the representatives, as well as two speeches delivered at the opening and closing ceremonies of the congress. A summary of the academic seminars is also included as an appendix to provide a more comprehensive understanding of the seminars.
