Features: This book is based on materials from Mr. Nan's works such as "The Unparalled Commentary on the Analects," "The Unparalled Commentary on the Mencius," "The Unparalled Commentary on the Laozi," "Zen Buddhism and Taoism," "The New Generation," "The Unparalled Commentary on the I Ching," "The Unparalled Commentary on the Commentary on the Changes," "The Bodhisattva Guanyin and the Guanyin Dharani," and "Eight Lectures on Poems from the Golden Bamboo Pavilion." What I did was essentially cutting and pasting, taking excerpts and slightly organizing them. Fortunately, Mr. Nan's books have a rigorous structure throughout, but extracting a passage can still stand alone as a complete piece. Most of the article titles are original subheadings from the source books, while some were added by me. During the editing process, only a few words and sentences were deleted. It was purely technical.
