Features: To quickly address major issues in China's agricultural production and bridge the gap between China's agricultural science and technology and the world's advanced level, during the Ninth Five-Year Plan period, China implemented the program to introduce international advanced agricultural science and technology, abbreviated as the 948 Project. Since its implementation, based on the actual needs of China's rural and agricultural economic development and agricultural science and technology advancement, a comprehensive and large-scale introduction of international advanced agricultural technologies and applicable technologies suitable for China's agricultural characteristics has been carried out in fields such as crop production, animal husbandry, aquaculture, agricultural machinery engineering, post-harvest processing of agricultural products, aquaculture, agricultural machinery engineering, post-harvest processing of agricultural products, and comprehensive agricultural technology. To accelerate the promotion of introduced technologies, we selected some technologies suitable for popularization and application and compiled them into the "948 Introduced Technology Series" for reference by a wide range of agricultural science and technology personnel, technology extension personnel, relevant agricultural enterprises, and rural aquaculture households.
