This is one of the classic works by Dale Dauten, founder of the renowned American market research company ResearchResources and the most popular American column writer. The book has a certain continuity with Are You Working Happy? It tells the story of several years later, when the successful middle manager Dale Dauten finds Max Elmo again and shares his confusions about management. Once again, the wise old man points Dale Dauten in the right direction, and the young man is enlightened.
Max Elmo tells the young man that the top priority of a genius boss is to create the best work environment for outstanding talent. Outstanding employees don't have jobs; they have talent. A genius boss must constantly seek talent and build alliances. The connection between a genius boss and outstanding employees is their mutual talent, a bond that often lasts a lifetime.
In this creative, insightful, and enjoyable book, Max reveals the "secrets" to becoming a genius boss—the six characteristics of genius bosses and outstanding employees. He will help every aspiring genius boss achieve their goals, and you will rediscover the joy of work, colleagues, and the happiness you've long lost within yourself.
