Features: Ethnic issues are major concerns in China's revolution and construction. Ethnic work is related to ethnic unity, economic development, social stability, and national unity. The third central leadership collective, with Comrade Jiang Zemin at its core, attached great importance to ethnic issues and ethnic work. In response to the new situation and tasks facing China's ethnic work, it made a series of important statements and decisions. These important statements and decisions have enriched and developed the theory of our Party in addressing ethnic issues, and hold long-term guiding significance for our work in ethnic affairs in the new century. This book is a continuation of the Selected Works on Ethnic Work in the New Period, published in March 1990, and includes 47 important documents on ethnic work from September 1990 to July 2002. Among them, there are compiled documents issued by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the National People's Congress, the State Council, and relevant ministries and commissions, as well as 25 speeches and articles by leaders of the Party and the state. Some of the manuscripts are publicly released for the first time.
