Features: The cultivation of Master of Business Administration (MBA) in China has been going on for over a decade. From 1991, when a few universities in China enrolled less than a hundred students in the first batch of MBA programs, to now having more than 60 higher education institutions offering MBA majors nationwide, this reflects the adaptation of China's higher education management programs to the actual needs of talent in the market economy and the development of economic globalization. It also mirrors the backdrop of significant transformation and transitional changes in China's economy, society, and education. Currently, in addition to the formal academic education MBA programs in universities, there are also business management education programs in society that focus primarily on skill training. The rapid rise of MBA education in China is, overall, a result of the surge in demand for practical business talents due to the swift transition from a planned economy system to a market economy system. It is also a microcosm of China's continuous opening-up, the adoption of more international practices in economic activities, and the gradual internationalization of management education. Despite this, the current scale of MBA programs in China is still far from meeting the needs of China's economic development.
