The Healthcare section includes topics such as child growth and development and physical exercise, basic knowledge of child nutrition and dietary management for group children, basic knowledge of microbiology and disinfection and isolation, prevention of common childhood diseases, prevention of accidental injuries in childcare institutions, and basic nursing methods commonly used in childcare institutions. The Education section covers regulations of childcare institutions, psychological development of infants and toddlers, childcare during daily activities, childcare during games, learning, and physical activities, equipment, items, and storage in childcare institutions, and professional skills and techniques for childcare workers.
To facilitate readers in grasping the key content of this textbook, thought questions are provided after each unit. At the end of the book, there are mock knowledge assessment papers and mock skill assessment papers, along with corresponding answers, for reference in testing and consolidating learning outcomes.
