Publish Date: 2003-01-01
Features: This book is the complete collection of Hauff's fairy tales. Hauff's fairy tales are an outstanding representative of German artistic fairy tales, with diverse themes, contents, and artistic styles. The stories not only take place in Hauff's F?rdewald city, village, and the vast Black Forest but also in distant foreign lands: the vast Arabian Desert and the desolate Scottish islands. In style, Hauff's fairy tales are eclectic, blending the clear educational significance of folk tales with the fresh, natural, and humorous language, while also incorporating the imaginative, eerie, and fantastical elements of Romantic fairy tale novels.
