"Four Great Treasuries" Summary Manuscript Special Collection - (Complete 5 Volumes)

Author: Zhang Mou
Publisher:
Publishing Date: 2006-10-01
Features: ★32-page hardcover, Beijing Library Press (predecessor of the National Library) 1st edition, 1st printing ★This book is a compilation of the manuscript summaries of the "Siku Quanshu" currently collected, possessing great documentary value and research significance. ★It can help solve many problems in Siku Quanshu studies. For example, the current editions of the summaries attached to the Siku Quanshu volumes (such as the Wenyuan Pavilion edition) always list Ji Yun first and Lu Xiuquan second as the chief compilers. However, the information provided by the manuscript summaries indicates that the order of the chief compilers was subject to change, based on the hierarchy of their official titles and ranks. ★The fifth volume includes a 187-page "Comprehensive Index of Book Titles and Authors."
