Southern Net News: Recently, relevant personnel discovered layered skeletons left over a hundred years ago in a cave in Miaoerguan Village, southern Xinhua Township, Shennongjia. Locals call this cave the "Human Cave," located on a sheer cliff of Baojia Mountain. An exploration team organized by Xinhua Township, led by local villager Yuan Zuqing, trekked through arduous journeys to find the cave. Upon entering, they found skeletons scattered everywhere, a sight that was shocking. According to research, these skeletons have been there for over a century. Based on the remaining skeletons, there were men and women, the young and the old, totaling around 300. Along the edge of the cave's water pool, there were many children's remains. A close examination of the cave revealed traces of human habitation. Fragments of cups, plates, bowls, and burned wood and bamboo pieces seemed to recount the bustling scenes of the past. Why did hundreds of people live together in one cave? What caused them to meet their demise? The answers await further investigation.
