The Seabuckthorn Forest Wetland Tourist Attraction is located at the northern foot of Heishan in Bashiakema Village, Aotebeixi Township, Wushi County, Aksu Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, 27 kilometers from Wushi County seat. The scenic area covers an area of 1,400 mu. In 2013, it was rated as a National Wetland Park, and it is China's first themed wetland park named after seabuckthorn. In 2015, it was successfully established as a National 4A-level tourist attraction. The scenic area is planned and built relying on the education exhibition area and comprehensive service area of the "Tuoshigan River National Wetland Park." It includes landscape resources such as primeval seabuckthorn forests, the Tuoshigan River, Gobi riverbanks, mountains, and farmers' and herdsmen's villages. It is a near-natural river wetland park tourist attraction in northwest China with distinctive regional characteristics. The tourist sightseeing road in the scenic area is about 5 kilometers long, including 3 kilometers of wooden boardwalk.
Historical Culture
Seabuckthorn Forest Wetland Park has witnessed the prosperity and decline of the ancient Silk Road, as well as the people of Wushi County's reverence for and protection of nature. Wushi County is richly endowed with seabuckthorn resources and abundant wild seabuckthorn resources, and has long enjoyed the reputation of "China's Hometown of Seabuckthorn." Seabuckthorn, a deciduous shrub that is drought-tolerant and resistant to wind and sand, not only covers this land with a green coat, but also, with its rich nutritional and medicinal value, has become a precious asset for the local people.

Seabuckthorn berries are a specialty of the scenic area. They are rich in nutrients such as vitamin C, carotenoids, and flavonoids, and are known as the "King of VC" and "Ecological Organic Product." They can be eaten directly, and taste even better with honey.
