Features: In the current curriculum reform, the selection of texts in Chinese language textbooks has been streamlined, but the proportion of classical Chinese in both the textbooks and exams has increased. This undoubtedly signals the need to strengthen the study of classical Chinese. For middle school students, learning classical Chinese is primarily necessary to understand and promote outstanding ancient culture. Secondly, it can complement the study of modern texts, as classical Chinese, despite being historical and cultural content, remains highly active in modern texts. Thirdly, it can directly assist middle school students in learning classical Chinese, helping them achieve good results in the junior high school and senior high school exams. To this end, we have designed a unique format featuring "Passage Reading," "Practice Drills," and an "Appendix." "Passage Reading" includes four parts: "Original Text, Annotations, Translation," and "Friendly Tips." This is a distinctive concept that primarily simulates the context of classroom teaching, reflecting the role of the teacher as a guide and demonstrating the process of understanding from the perceptual to the rational. The design of this section is also an effective method for exploring the learning patterns of classical Chinese.
