Features: Learning and survival for humans is a continuous process of testing and evaluation. It can be said that life is an endless exam and test. The learning of academic knowledge is even more so. To expect learning without exams is as unrealistic as expecting a production process without inspection and products without evaluation. Especially in the learning of academic knowledge, which is the study and mastery of a knowledge system built upon the highly abstract, summarized, and organized experience and understanding of humankind, possessing a complete intellectual framework and inherent laws, continuous testing and exams are essential to completion. Exams are an indispensable part of academic knowledge learning. The quality of being able to endure exams and evaluation is the best quality, aligning with the direction of quality education. One of China's greatest contributions to the construction of social systems is exams—imperial examinations—using exams to select elite talent for society. Solving problems is the only indispensable and irreplaceable starting point for exams. From a certain perspective, all exams are conducted in the form of problem-solving, and the resolution of problems is the central focus of exams. Learning a knowledge system is no exception; there can be no exams without problem-solving. Exams vividly express society's comprehensive and specific requirements for talent, and therefore must be acknowledged.
