China's clinical legal education has actively explored and summarized the characteristics of the clinical legal education training model by conscientiously absorbing advanced experiences from domestic and international clinical legal education. Clinical legal education was introduced into China in 2000. Among the more than 600 higher education institutions in China with legal programs, only about 20 actually offer clinical legal education, and it is not widely practiced in legal vocational colleges in China.
