Features: The readers and users of this book include students and postgraduate students of law schools in universities, as well as general readers interested in understanding the fundamental issues and development of law through this book. It is also suitable for other readers. The book structures the entire jurisprudence system through eight fundamental issues and their logical connections, covering the system and content of jurisprudence textbooks commonly used domestically, with some adjustments. Around the eight major issues, the editor provides concise and clear explanations, avoiding complex arguments and footnotes as much as possible. In some places where footnotes are typically used, selected excerpts from literature are provided instead. Perhaps reading these authentic texts is more effective than relying on fragmented footnotes in helping readers (students) deepen their understanding. Some of these excerpts are excerpts from the works and textbooks of authoritative scholars in domestic jurisprudence, which are presented in their original form because they are so concise and comprehensive that they do not need to be rewritten as one's own. Another part consists of classic statements by foreign legal scholars, which can guide readers to think deeply about related jurisprudence issues. Although they are not individually commented on, it does not mean the author necessarily agrees with or endorses these views. Readers are left to judge and analyze them for themselves. At the same time, some reviews and cases are selected for inclusion in the book, in addition to explaining related issues, their purpose is also to encourage students to think about and solve legal real-world problems. It should be noted that in these materials, the term "law" is sometimes used as "legal," and the opposite situation also exists. This is mainly due to differences in usage habits and perspectives among users or translators. The author cannot note each instance, so readers are advised to distinguish and identify them. In terms of formatting, this book changes the usual format of chapters, sections, and sub-sections commonly used in textbooks. Instead, it uses different font styles to distinguish levels, which is intended to balance detail and conciseness, avoiding the inclusion of unnecessary content simply to balance the word count of each chapter. At the same time, some tables are used in the book to present classifications and comparisons, making them clear at a glance. To facilitate students' memorization, relevant concepts and definitions are also displayed in different fonts.
