Features: The TV series Echo was written eight years ago and is adapted from my novel Prisoner written sixteen years ago. The film Long March reflects this grand history from a macro perspective, while the TV series Echo recreates this miracle in human war history from a micro perspective. In other words, the film primarily focuses on the upper-leaders during the Long March, whereas the TV series depicts the ordinary Red Army commanders and soldiers on the Long March journey.
