Snow White’s mother, the Queen, gave birth to a princess. The princess was very beautiful with snow-white skin, bright red lips, and sparkling eyes. The King and Queen adored her and named her Snow White. Unfortunately, the Queen soon fell ill and passed away. The King remarried, and his new wife was quite beautiful but very wicked.
Snow White grew up day by day. One day, the new Queen asked the magic mirror, “Who is the most beautiful in the world?” The mirror had always told her she was the most beautiful, but this time, it said, “Snow White is a thousand times more beautiful than you.”
The new Queen was furious! She swore to kill Snow White. She hired a hunter to take Snow White into the forest and kill her. The hunter couldn’t bear to do it and let the princess go.
Snow White wandered alone in the forest, terrified. As she walked, she found a small wooden cottage and went inside.
Seven kind dwarfs lived in the cottage, and they welcomed Snow White to stay.
That day, the new Queen asked the magic mirror again, “Who is the most beautiful in the world?” The mirror told her, “Snow White with the seven dwarfs is a thousand times more beautiful than you.”
Enraged, the new Queen decided to kill Snow White herself. That day, she disguised herself as an old woman selling ribbons and came to the dwarfs’ cottage. She strangled Snow White with ribbons until she fainted. But when the dwarfs returned, they revived Snow White.
The new Queen then used magic to create a poisoned comb. She disguised herself as an old woman selling combs and came to the forest, shouting at Snow White’s window, “Combs for sale! Such beautiful combs!”
Snow White loved the comb very much. The new Queen feigned kindness as she combed her hair, and as soon as the comb was inserted into Snow White’s hair, she fainted.
That night, the dwarfs returned and removed the comb from Snow White’s head, reviving her.
The new Queen then made a poisoned apple that was half green and half red. She stood before the cottage and ate the non-poisoned green half in front of Snow White, then offered the poisoned red half to her. As soon as Snow White took a bite, she died. The dwarfs couldn’t save her and were heartbroken. They placed her in a crystal coffin and carried her to a hill.
One day, a prince passed by and was captivated by the beautiful Snow White. He carried her back to the castle. On the way, the poisoned apple fell from her mouth, and she woke up.
The prince and Snow White had a grand wedding. The new Queen, upon hearing this, went mad and soon died.
