Features: This book is a national-level planning textbook for the "15th Five-Year Plan" of general higher education, revised based on the second edition. The second edition was a key textbook for the "9th Five-Year Plan" and won the second prize of the National Excellent Textbook Award for Higher Education in 2002. The book consists of 11 chapters. Chapters 1-4 are fundamental experiments. Chapter 1 introduces the basic theory of measurement errors and the basic methods of experimental data processing; Chapter 2 introduces the test methods for performance parameters and basic application circuits of devices such as diodes, transistors, MOS field-effect transistors, and integrated operational amplifiers; Chapter 3 introduces the test methods for performance parameters and logic functions of integrated logic gates, flip-flops, the 555 integrated circuit, and small-to-medium-scale combinational and sequential logic circuits, as well as the design methods for basic application circuits. Chapter 4 introduces the operation methods of the OrCAD9.2 teaching software and 12 simulation examples of low-frequency circuits, digital logic circuits, high-frequency circuits, and mixed-signal circuits. Chapters 5-7 are design-oriented experiments for low-frequency circuits, high-frequency circuits, and digital logic circuits, with 15 design topics for low-frequency and high-frequency circuits and 7 design topics for digital circuits. These design topics introduce traditional electronic circuit design and testing techniques based on quantitative estimation and experiments, aiming to strengthen students' fundamental training in engineering design. Chapter 8 covers hardware description languages, introducing the basic syntax rules, program structures, and gate-level and behavioral-level modeling methods of VerilogHDL, along with 12 program design examples. Chapter 9 introduces two types of programmable logic devices, CPLD and FPGA, covering their basic structures and programming methods, as well as the operational workflow for project design under MAX+PLUSⅡ and examples of chip downloading. Through these two chapters, students can master the EDA design methods for programmable logic devices and chip downloading. Chapter 10 introduces 4 examples of comprehensive electronic circuit system design. Chapter 11 covers the application techniques of universal electronic instruments. This book can serve as a textbook for undergraduate and associate degree students in electrical engineering, electronics, and communication majors for experimental courses or project design in electronic technology and electronic circuits, and can also be referenced by engineering and technical personnel engaged in electronic design.
