Features: After more than fifty years of development, China's rural credit cooperatives have accumulated considerable leadership skills. However, on one hand, leadership skills are characterized by tacit knowledge, making it difficult to share them; on the other hand, the theoretical research on leadership in rural credit cooperatives has long been neglected, resulting in very limited research achievements. Additionally, there are numerous rural credit cooperative institutions across the country, which are widely dispersed and not affiliated with one another, leading to a lack of communication between them. In the field of leadership studies, scholars both domestically and internationally have already achieved substantial theoretical results. These achievements are primarily concentrated in the business sector, and in the financial field, they mainly focus on commercial banks. Rural credit cooperatives are financial institutions with many similarities to other financial institutions. However, in terms of management systems and operational models, rural credit cooperatives differ significantly from policy banks and commercial banks. Moreover, as rural credit cooperatives continue to grow and develop during reforms, they have formed their own unique management and operational models. Therefore, the leadership skills of rural credit cooperatives exhibit distinct characteristics. Accordingly, the author of this book, based on their extensive experience working in rural credit cooperatives, has summarized and organized content such as leadership methods for rural credit cooperatives and the principles that leadership in rural credit cooperatives should follow, starting from the characteristics of rural credit cooperatives and combining knowledge of improving services for the "three rurals" and leadership studies. This provides a reference basis for the management of rural credit cooperatives and their long-term, stable, and healthy development.
