Features: Danzas is a famous 19th-century French historian and literary critic. Among his numerous works, The Philosophy of Art is a monumental work on art, art history, and human culture. The book consists of five parts, with the fourth part being Greek Sculpture. My father was falsely labeled as a "rightist" in April 1958 and suffered extreme mental anguish. He closed himself off from the world to revise his books, spending a full year immersed in the realm of art from Greece, the Netherlands, and Western Europe, seeking to forget the cruel political turmoil around him. However, the 300,000 words of his heart and soul poured into the manuscript could not be published because "rightists" were barred from publishing. Despite this, my father remained steadfast in his principles and unyielding in his beliefs. The publication of this book became indefinitely delayed. The handwriting of Fu Lei is imbued with profound paternal love, just as it is said in the family letters, "especially for you as a." Fu Cong, who had been living abroad for many years, had always treasured this manuscript personally bound by his father. It was not until the early 1980s of the last century, when the Collected Works of Fu Lei's Annotations was to be published, that he brought it back from Britain. Therefore, both the version of the Collected Works of Fu Lei's Annotations and the later compiled Greek Sculpture in round characters were proofread and revised based on this manuscript. The entire manuscript consists of 100 pages, with many red-pen marginal notes on the top and bottom margins.
