Features: Do you know Shen Yaxian? That one, haha, forget it if you don’t remember, because even I’ve forgotten who I am. Yes, that’s me, Shen Yaxian. A year ago, I unfortunately was diagnosed with a brain tumor, so I had to come to the U.S. to have that little thing that could take my life at any moment removed. =_=# But it turned out: I was very wise and had great judgment! Because the surgery was incredibly successful, I can finally breathe the air above my head and eat all the delicious food with my mouth wide open! The most important thing is—no more smelling the awful medicine smell from the hospital every day! Hehe. ^0^ However, there’s a little bit of a downside: after the surgery, I forgot everything about my past. I don’t even recognize my parents, isn’t that strange? They say it was because the surgery was done too late, or that the brain tumor compressed the nerves, causing amnesia, or something like that—I’m not sure. Anyway, it doesn’t matter much to me, and besides, I’m only eighteen years old. I probably didn’t have anything profound enough in the past that I wouldn’t want to forget, right? So, I’m not really bothered by it, the most important thing is now! Hehe. But my parents seem really eager for me to remember! Honestly, what’s there to remember? Nothing but ordinary, normal things like going to school, coming home, eating, sleeping! For this, my dad actually went to the extreme of quitting his job and decided to move the whole family back to Korea! It’s unbelievable. I don’t even care myself, and besides, not remembering won’t harm my health, so why worry so much? Huh, Korea—God knows what kind of place it is! It’s where I was born and raised, but I don’t have any memories of it anymore! So, it’s normal not to have any feelings, isn’t it? On the other hand, I’ve made many friends here! Eric, Emma, Joe—they’re all great people! If I go back to Korea, will I have no friends? Even if I do, I won’t remember them, and it’ll just make me feel lonely~>0 “Yaxian, what are you thinking about?” “Ah? Nothing, haha.” How could I possibly tell my mom that? After all, my parents moved back because they wanted me to regain my memories. Oh, by the way, my whole family is now on a plane flying to Korea! 5555~~~ Even if I have more thoughts, it won’t matter anymore. In a few minutes, I’ll be stepping onto Korean soil, and I won’t see Eric anymore with his eyebrows raised telling me his delinquent stories, or hear Emma’s lovely laughter, or see Joe trying to make me laugh by fanning himself prettily.
