Features: Before the publication of "Five-Character Classic for Nurturing Talent," Mingzhao asked me to write the preface. While I hesitated to accept, I felt it was my duty to do so. We have known each other for over a decade, and our friendship can be described as a deep and subtle bond between gentlemen. One of us is engaged in cultural publicity, while the other manages enterprises. However, the topics of human nature and talent cultivation brought us together and deepened our connection. The Chinese civilization is long-standing and profound. This enduring history has been preserved through written records. Works like the "Tao Te Ching" and the "Three-Character Classic" are treasures of China's splendid civilization. The turning of historical wheels has brought us into the 21st century. With the development of society, the prosperity of culture, and the richness of language, the number of literary works of various genres has increased significantly, especially those on talent cultivation and personal development. Many scholars believe that we should adapt to the trends and respect traditional culture. Others argue that this alone is not enough—respect should not be the end goal but should align with the times, making innovation and transformation extremely important. Against this backdrop, we are delighted to read Mingzhao's creation of the "Five-Character Classic," and it is a series. When some newspapers and magazines published Mingzhao's "Five-Character Classic," it quickly garnered widespread praise. Some regarded Mingzhao as a guardian of traditional Chinese culture. However, I would say that while his "Five-Character Classics" inherit Chinese culture, they also incorporate a wealth of contemporary information, showcasing clear innovative characteristics that make them easily accessible to modern readers—a rare achievement. In the creation of this "Five-Character Classic," Mingzhao poured in immense effort and passion for life. The "Five-Character Classics" he wrote are consistently rhymed, even in a massive work like the "Chinese Five-Character Classic," which spans over 23,000 characters, and is also consistently rhymed. From both the perspective of the format of the classics and their phonetic rhythms, this is a form of creativity. Creativity requires courage, and courage stems from knowledge. Those who know Mingzhao are impressed by his thirst for learning, but perhaps his ability to think deeply is less understood by others. I have had more interactions with Mingzhao, though our professions are vastly different. Yet, he can offer insightful perspectives not only on industrial enterprises but also on technical and managerial issues, as well as on many social problems. This is more than just broad knowledge or extensive reading. It is the realm one achieves when they are erudite and observant,. A "Chinese Five-Character Classic" with over 23,000 characters, blending elegance and accessibility, makes it easy for readers of all levels to engage with. The tension and power of the language are evident. Creation is a form of dedication, and dedication stems from love. This love comes from a strong sense of social responsibility. He is generous and compassionate, and both his colleagues and friends know that whenever people face difficulties, Mingzhao always provides earnest help to the best of his ability. Despite having octogenarian parents, children studying at home, and a wife without an income, he still donates thousands of yuan annually to help extremely needy students. He is even more passionate about the growth of young people. Countless young people have received his care, support, and encouragement in mines, factories, government agencies, rural areas, and newspapers. This is no exception in my company. The words between the lines of this "Five-Character Classic" collection reveal the heart of a philosopher who is anxious and explores for the healthy and comprehensive growth of the next generation that will carry the future of the nation. This is Mingzhao—a learned, kind, and righteous scholar. May his future creations transcend this "Five-Character Classic," as he himself said, constantly surpassing himself to reach greater heights in life. I believe that readers who finish this "Five-Character Classic for Nurturing Talent" will gain profound insights into parenting and talent cultivation.
