Features: Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) systems are characterized by energy efficiency, environmental comfort, and flexible control. With their versatile combination layouts, excellent partial-load efficiency, and adaptable usage methods, they meet market demands and cater to buildings of various scales. This book takes typical VRF products as examples to systematically explain the principles, technology, and applications of VRF systems. It covers refrigeration principles, air conditioning principles, VRF principles, VRF air conditioning system design, VRF control and billing systems, common issues and analysis in VRF engineering design, residential central air conditioning design, and VRF installation and commissioning. Not only does it clarify the principles and technology of VRF air conditioning systems, but it also provides practical design and installation examples. R&D personnel and designers working on VRF air conditioning systems can learn from this book to master the technology of VRF systems and creatively apply it to their professional work. The entire content or parts of this book can be used for training technicians, maintenance staff, managers, and sales personnel in the VRF air conditioning industry. This book can also serve as a teaching reference and specialized lecture material for graduate and undergraduate students in refrigeration, air conditioning, and related fields.
