Features: Japanese-to-Chinese translation and Chinese-to-Japanese translation are two aspects of translation. Although they differ in difficulty, both are compulsory courses for students and should not be neglected. The author has attempted to include Japanese-to-Chinese and Chinese-to-Japanese translations with equal weight in this textbook. While the selection of examples for Japanese-to-Chinese translation leans toward literary works, Chinese-to-Japanese translation focuses more on articles in the form of news reports, the status of both is equal, and there is no distinction between importance or priority. To stimulate students' enthusiasm for learning, the author has included numerous exercises for analyzing and comparing translations of the same source but in different languages in the first part of the book. The second part includes some exercises for analyzing and researching translations. These two types of exercises do not come with reference answers. Of course, these exercises can also be used as teaching content in the classroom. Additionally, the author has not provided reference translations for a few translation exercises in the first part, with the purpose of encouraging students to think for themselves.
