Features: The Common Piano Course for Medium Art Schools is designed for students of various art disciplines outside of piano major, as well as for students of medium normal schools and a broad group of young amateurs or adults learning piano. This series consists of three volumes, providing foundational piano teaching for students from beginner to intermediate level over approximately three years. This book is the th volume, with a level equivalent to progressing from beginner to the end of the Beyer Piano Basic Course, and connects with the Czerny Piano Primer (Op. 599). Its main purpose is to teach "reading music, basic musical knowledge, playing techniques, and musical expression," divided into three learning stages with a step-by-step arrangement. Due to varying musical backgrounds and piano experience among users, progress and repertoire selection may differ. To provide teachers with flexible and personalized teaching space, this course does not specifically set a "unit teaching model." For learning improvisational accompaniment, it is recommended to use specialized textbooks for better planning and focus.
