Features: "The sharp edge of a sword is tempered from grinding, and the fragrance of plum blossoms comes from suffering in the cold." Journalists must study theory diligently, strive to master their professional skills, actively engage in practice, and continuously improve their ideological and professional competence. In the vivid, rich, and diverse public security cause, I eagerly expect more and better outstanding works to be produced, and more outstanding public security publicity workers to grow. The 16th National Congress of the Communist Party of China made a comprehensive plan for building a moderately prosperous society in all respects, developing socialist material civilization, political civilization, and spiritual civilization, and accelerating the implementation of the strategy of governing the country according to law. At the new stage of building a moderately prosperous society in all respects and accelerating the construction of socialist modernization, the public security teams shoulder the important historical mission of "consolidating the Party's ruling position, maintaining long-term peace and stability in the country, and ensuring the peace and livelihood of the people." As an important publicity front in the public security field, all journalists must recognize the extreme importance and urgency of doing a good job in public security publicity and ideological work under the new situation, enhance their sense of honor, responsibility, and mission, and "shoulder justice with firm shoulders and write articles with skillful hands." In accordance with General Secretary Hu Jintao's requirements for implementing the spirit of the 16th National Congress to focus on the theme, grasp the essence, and strive for implementation, we must adhere to "arming people with scientific theories, guiding people with correct public opinion, shaping people with noble spirit, and inspiring people with outstanding works." We must closely focus on the central work of the Ministry's Party Committee, promote the main melody, sing the song of justice, fight the battle proactively, and strive to build socialist democratic politics and achieve the goal of governing the country according to law.
