Features: Over the years of teaching art, I found that I could capture the captivating scenes before me in a short time, while students would spend hours or even longer to achieve the same. Clearly, they did not pay enough attention to sketching. Therefore, I now require them to draw sketches every week. Of course, it is indeed challenging for beginners to grasp the form at once, but as long as they practice frequently and persistently, they are bound to succeed. Sketching is extremely important for students majoring in fine arts or design. I spent nearly a year on this book, from the chapter "Introduction to Sketching" to Chapter 6 "Artwork Appreciation," totaling six chapters. Particularly in Chapter 2, I wrote about "Still Life Sketching," which students often overlook. They would often spend hours rubbing the paper with a pencil, completely rubbing away the vitality of the objects. In reality, we can imbue life into anything, using extraordinary imagination to make the objects lively and dynamic, reflecting genuine emotions that burst from the heart. The sketching examples in the book are records I made casually over the years, just a part of them, containing my love and passion for life. I have also included the works of the renowned and respected senior art masters from home and abroad in the book, for which I express my deepest gratitude. This book is comprehensive, richly illustrated, easy to understand, and can serve as both a professional and amateur art training textbook, as well as a reference for copying practice. Whether for beginners or students with some drawing foundation, it offers practical guidance.
