Features: Once a celebrity lawsuit becomes news material, journalists face the choice of how much they are willing to pay for the public interest they recognize in weighing it. Sometimes, you must do what public opinion does not want to do, and sometimes you must do what public opinion expects to do. The behavior of journalists is showing the "ideal" contained in the report to the readers. In a market with surplus productivity, a consumption behavior that proves loyalty is called "faithful customers." Their active acceptance of products without haggling or abandoning them is because they are "consuming ideals." It is a peak "experience" that is desired but unattainable. Similarly, in a market where notary offices are no longer scarce, those who can turn spiritual products into faith-based goods through "transactions" to meet people's emotional consumption are "heroes of the future" (Keynes' words). This book is another masterpiece by Chen Bin, a legal and political reporter for the Jinbao Daily, following his previous work "Stories Behind the News." It presents the simple and unpretentious behavior of a journalist to the readers. The book records lawsuits involving celebrities such as Shen Xiaocen, Yang Huaiyuan, Zhou Jie, Andy Lau, Li Guyi, Liu Jiaлин, and Qian Zhongshu. The plots are intricate, the stories vivid, reflecting the clashes of interests, changes in values, and fluctuations in concepts in a developing society. Reading through it is not just about entertaining history or the vicissitudes of life, but more importantly, it allows readers to grasp the pulse of progress, understand the trajectory of conceptual evolution, and observe the behavioral choices of a journalist in that context.
