Features: A sentence turns danger into safety. As early as May 11, 1502, the navigator Columbus began his fourth voyage with the support of the King of Spain, aiming to open a sea route from the Atlantic to Asia. In the third year, 1504, he led his fleet to South America, where he had armed conflicts with the indigenous people. The fleet was surrounded and trapped in a perilous situation, with a fierce battle looming. At this moment, the astronomy-savvy Columbus knew that a lunar eclipse would occur on May 1st of that year, so he decided to use this eclipse to stop the hostile actions of the indigenous people against the fleet. Therefore, he told the indigenous people who were trying to starve him and the sailors to death, "If you continue to be hostile and surround the fleet, there will be no moonlight for you tonight." At first, the indigenous people did not believe it. That night, the lunar eclipse indeed occurred, and the surrounded people, terrified and at a loss, quickly surrendered to Columbus, allowing Columbus' fleet to turn danger into safety. Columbus' clever remark stopped a fierce battle and turned danger into safety. A sentence led to a tragedy. In Beijing in 1980, the incident occurred on a bus. When the bus arrived at the station and stopped, some passengers got off, while new passengers boarded one by one. However, just as the last young passenger got on, the young conductor pressed the button to close the door, accidentally trapping the young passenger. At this moment, he expressed his dissatisfaction and asked the conductor, "What are you doing, trapping me?!" The conductor replied, "So what if I trapped you?!" The young passenger said, "I won't do anything to you, but I'll cut you up within three stops!" The conductor said, "Watch your mouth, you dare to cut someone? I've never seen anyone like you." The two of them argued fiercely, and many people tried to mediate, but it was useless. After a while, the bus arrived at the station and stopped, and the young passenger got off. He went to a shop and bought a kitchen knife. When the bus returned, he boarded it and then a shocking murder occurred. The young passenger used the knife to stab the conductor. The people on the bus tried to stop him, but it was useless. The driver scolded the young passenger for his wrong behavior, but the young passenger stabbed off the driver's ear with the knife. The young conductor was actually killed. The murderer was arrested by the public security bureau and sentenced to death. "So what if I trapped you?" A sentence led to two deaths, and of course, the murderer was executed, which was well-deserved. But if the sentence "So what if I trapped you?" had been changed to "Sorry!" the young passenger who had been trapped by the door would have calmed down, and of course, there would have been no further misconduct, and the tragedy of two deaths could have been completely avoided. A vulgar word taught people a profound lesson. A sentence stops a fight. It was also in 1980, in a restaurant in the western suburbs of Beijing. At night, many people were dining there. At this moment, some young people also came here to drink, and the more they drank, the happier they became, a bit too much. One young man said, "Let's play rock-paper-scissors!" and then they started to shout and play. The waiter came over and said, "The restaurant has rules, no rock-paper-scissors!" But the young men, who had drunk a lot, did not listen and continued to play. At this moment, the restaurant leader also came and tried to persuade them, but it was useless. At this moment, another patrol member came with a patrol certificate.
