Features: Calligraphy is a national treasure of China and has numerous enthusiasts. With the improvement of people's material and cultural lives, the number of people learning calligraphy has been increasing by millions each year, gradually becoming popular among children and young adults, and an increasing number of elderly people are also joining the ranks of calligraphy learners. Learning calligraphy can not only enhance one's cultural refinement and aesthetic taste but also serve as a form of physical exercise. Therefore, calligraphy has become a new symbol for people pursuing a high-quality life. As is well known, the best time to learn calligraphy is from a young age. Cultivating an interest in calligraphy at an early age can influence a calligraphy enthusiast's entire life. Therefore, we have compiled this series of "Children's Calligraphy Stele and Inscription Teaching" books, hoping to provide primary school students with a more standardized introduction to calligraphy. This series is organized into several parts, including holding the brush, using the brush, structure and composition, layout, and copying exercises, as well as creative knowledge and appreciation of original works. For beginners, this is a step-by-step process. Considering that some young readers may have difficulty with non-simplified characters, we have marked the corresponding simplified characters below the traditional and variant characters to facilitate beginners. The regular script selected for this series is represented by Yan Zhenqing, Liu Gongquan, Ou Yangxun, and Zhao Mengfu. Their regular script calligraphy has become the preferred choice for later generations of learners and calligraphy enthusiasts to study and copy. For clerical script, we have chosen the "Zhang Qian Stele" and the "Cao Quan Stele," which represent the two styles of robust and solemn versus elegant and flowing, serving as typical models for learning clerical script. For running script, we have selected the works of Wang Xizhi, the Sage of Calligraphy, and Mi Fu, known as the "Sage of Running Script in the Song Dynasty." Readers can admire these timeless masterpieces from these classic steles and inscriptions, witnessing the immortal monuments of history.
